Why a League of Nations
People don't remember tournaments.

Instead of playing as individuals, players represent their nation. Every flag tells a story. Every team creates pride. Every match builds friendships. This isn't a tournament asking for a sponsor's booth — it's an invitation to build something Tanzania has never seen before: a sporting event where diplomacy, friendship, and social impact meet on the pickleball court.

Unlike football, tennis, golf, or a marathon, pickleball naturally creates conversation and laughter mid-point. Unlimited players, six courts, ninety-six conversations happening at once. It's the fastest-growing sport in the world for a reason.
Why Now
Africa's first
A USA Pickleball sanctioned event — the first of its kind on the continent. Imagine five years from now: the largest diplomatic sporting event in East Africa, with Tanzania recognized as the home of pickleball diplomacy in Africa.

The Mission
Every rally played helps create another smile.
Pickle in Dar isn't simply a sports organization — it's the engine powering a sustainable humanitarian mission. OwosTanzania has already completed two humanitarian missions at Nyarugusu, the largest refugee camp in Tanzania, home to 135,000 people with no access to even basic dental care. Every national team, every sponsor, every match played goes directly toward building a permanent Dental Care Unit inside the camp — implemented in partnership with TRCS, the Tanzania Red Cross Society.

Unity Wildcards: Tanzania's road onto a TPLON team
Every participating national team may welcome selected Tanzanian players as Unity Wildcards — players who compete alongside a citizen or official representative of that country, building real partnerships through pickleball. The road into the Wildcard Pool starts at Dar United.
